If you’re travelling from the west catch a train to Westmead Station. The park is a 1.5km walk via Railway Pde entering the park via Park Ave and continuing east towards the Crescent.
Travel by Bus
Plenty of bus services including Sydney Buses and Hillsbus run services to and from Parramatta Interchange at the station. Use the Trip Planner to find a bus service closest to you. From the Interchange the park is a 1.2km walk via Argyle St and Pitt St or Church St and George St. You can also take advantage of the free Parramatta Shuttle Bus (route 900) which runs in a loop from the train station to Parramatta Park the Ferry Wharf and return leaving from Macquarie St every 10 minutes between 8am and 4pm on weekends. Get off the bus on Macquarie St just before George St to enter the park via the George Street Gatehouse. Throughout the evening, two buses will maintain regular services, with both vehicles being fully compliant for people with mobility concerns or disability assistance needs.
Travel by Ferry
On weekends, ferries run along the Parramatta River between Circular Quay and Parramatta every hour and Sydney Olympic Park every 30 minutes. Keep in mind there are no late ferries leaving from Parramatta Wharf on weekends. The last ferry leaves Parramatta at around 7:30pm so if you plan to stay for the whole show you’ll need to catch a train or bus to get home instead. Alternatively the last ferry leaves from Sydney Olympic Park Wharf at around 10:30pm.
We recommend leaving your car at home and saving some petrol dollars! There will be no parking at Parramatta Park however there are a number of Parramatta council paid parking facilities close by, but these will fill so consider catching public transport instead.
